Today I am speaking with Facu Spagnaulo, Co-Founder at Mimic, an innovative DeFi solution that makes interacting with DeFi simpler and safer through automation, customization, and smart vaults. As you’ll hear, Facu is incredibly humble and soft-spoken, but he’s not only worked with some of the biggest projects in DeFi, and his contributions have made a long-lasting impact in the space.
During our conversation, Facu talks about his reluctant entry and calculated risk of moving into crypto, his time at OpenZeppelin, Aragon, and Balancer, and the lightbulb moment that started his entrepreneurial journey to starting Mimic.
